Virtus Academy is participating in our nation’s largest celebration of reading during the month of March and all year long. In addition to reading books students can see themselves reflected in and books that allow readers to see a world or a character that might be different from them, we incorporated some fun activities in our March 2 kickoff:
- Community volunteers read to students
- Our middle school students read to our elementary students
- We hosted a Scholastic Book Fair
March is National Reading Month, but we make it a practice to fit reading into our daily, weekly, and monthly calendars.
