Thirty-two Virtus Academy Elementary and Junior Beta Club students attended the state’s annual Beta Club Convention in Myrtle Beach on January 17–19, making their mark in seven competitions and qualifying for the national event this summer in Savannah.

“It was an outstanding convention and learning opportunity for our students,” said John Huggins, Elementary Club Advisor and 5th Grade ELA Teacher. “Our Wolves demonstrated the four pillars of Beta throughout the event. They were kind and polite and showed outstanding character and leadership everywhere they went.”
The four pillars of Beta Club are high academic achievement, character, leadership, and service to others.
